I'm Thankful For My Family

This year Thanksgiving will be at my sister Bubba's (Kristi) house.

This is my wonderful sister Bubba.

I am so thankful for you and feel lucky to be your sister.  You have a heart of gold and deserve so much happiness!  Our friendship is priceless and I couldn't ask for a better best friend/big sister.  Thank you for always being there for me.  I love you, you are my rock!

This is our 2008 Thanksgiving dinner.  This year my dad had set up a camera with a remote and continued to take picture after picture wanting to get a "candid" shot.  RIGHT!  Like that's going to happen in OUR family.

My parents are extremely supportive of my sisters and I in everything we do.  I'm so thankful for them and the life that they've provided for us.  My parents have thought us many life lessons that we could not get from school or a book.  Thank you mom and dad for being the best parents and loving us unconditionally!  You have both been so supportive to me as a mom and I love watching both of you with Maci.  She is lucky to have both of you and I'm glad that she will have such great people to go to for love and support as well.

Will, I love you more than I can say in words.  You are the best husband I could ask for.  You are always there for me, and I can talk to you about anything which I really appreciate.  I truly believe you know me better than anyone and you still love/like me which is pretty darn cool if you ask me.  I love watching you as a father to our sweet girl, she adores you and I'm so glad that I picked you to be my husband!

This year we will have both Maci and Carson at Thanksgiving for the first time.  I said above it will be at my sisters house but really it's Carson's house too.

Carson, I'm so thankful for you and the joy that you bring to my sister.  She is an amazing person who deserves to have someone in her life that treats her with respect and enjoys life as much as she does.  Thank you for being that person for her, we really enjoy continuing to get to know you and we're happy to have you in our lives.

Maci you have taught me the true meaning of love.  You are the best gift I could ever ask for.  As I'm typing this I can't help but get tears in my eyes when I think about the continuous joy you bring to me every day.  You are such a special girl and I'm so lucky to be your mom.

I could have written about Samantha above but I just LOVE this picture so I had to post it.  This is my little sister Samantha, who is actually starting to tower me and isn't such a little sister anymore.

Samantha, watching you grow into the young lady you are has been so much fun.  You are such a smart, caring, sweet, girl who really knows how to light up a room.  I want only the best for you in life and with your drive you can do and become anything you put your mind to.  I love you so much and I'm so lucky to have you as my sister.  Thank you for being my friend.

I can't find a picture right now with Tom and Cathy (Will's parents) but I'm very thankful for them as well.

Tom and Cathy, thank you for your love and support of both Will and I as our relationship continues to grow.  You have both taken me in and have made me feel very loved and apart of the family and I really am grateful for that.  Thank you for being not only my mom and dad in-law but my friends.  Maci is lucky to have both of you in her life!  We love you!

As you can see, I have many people to be thankful for just in my family alone.  I have so much more to be thankful for but to me family is the most important of all.

November Has Come & Has Almost Gone

Maci is now 5 MONTH OLD!  We can not believe she has been with us (born) for almost half a year.  Maci turned 5 months on November 14th so we celebrated with her first time eating rice cereal.  She isn't sure about it, I'm hoping she'll take to veggies at 6 months a little better.

What a big girl!

Maci eating her rice cereal for the first time.

She may not like it all that much, but it doesn't stop her from smiling!

Laurel and Maci playing together.  Didn't last long though, Maci hates being on her tummy.

This month she found her feet.  She likes to play with them so much that she ends up spinning in a circle trying to get them.

Grandpa and Auntie Sam had a little photo session with Maci while I was at work.  She loves pumpkins.

Maci is a happy little girl who loves to smile, talk, drool, play with her feet and she has recently started taking on the hobby of giving my arm hickies.  Yes, I have 4 of them right now.  She is also getting really strong.  She is almost sitting up on her own, for now just a few seconds at a time and standing up in her exersaucer like a champ.

So there you have it, a TON of smiles from our sweet girl!

Finishing Up October

I have been lame about posting.  I wanted to show a few more pictures from October, then we're on to the November happenings!  I didn't get pictures on my camera of Maci in her costumes, yes I said it, she had more than one costume!  She was a bee AND a hot dog!  I will have to post those later.  For now you'll just have to look at a few cute ones of her.

What a face!
