Maci's Room Progress

I FINALLY found my camera! Here are some pictures of her room so far.

My mom bought a duplicate of my ducky that I still sleep with.

Maci will now have her own! The blanket on the back of her crib is Will's baby blanket. This is the same blanket that he slept with in his crib and now wants Maci to be able to do the same.

The mobile was purchased by our cousin Jen for Maci. Thank you Jen!

The glider was a $15 find at the Goodwill Outlet and the rocking horse was given to us by our friend Breanna. My mother in law Cathy made the blanket for me, I thought it matched well in her room.

This will be in our room once she comes. Nate and Tess were so generous to give this to us after their twins didn't fit any longer.

The room is coming along, but there's still more to do. We need to hang the valances and find some pictures for the walls. It's fun walking into a room that will have a baby in it really soon.

Clean and Organized Clothes

I took this picture with my phone which doesn't have a flash so it didn't turn out great, however, Maci's newborn clothes are now all washed and organized!

Birthing Class and Anniversary

Today is Thursday April 15th which is also the first day of our Birthing Class. Should be interesting, they are going to tell us the baby has to come out now that it is in there and then I’m sure give all of the wonderful details on the ways a baby can get out. I’m not sure why we’re putting ourselves through this, but like I said, it should be interesting.

Will and I have been married 1 year as of this coming Sunday! We were going to be going to the Bahamas for a week; instead I got pregnant so that leaves us with the Oregon Coast as our only option if we want to be near the ocean. Will and I both took off tomorrow, Friday April 16th so we will be in Seaside from tomorrow until we return on Sunday April 18th after having our last weekend alone without a baby (out of my stomach).

Will has completed putting all of the furniture together in Maci’s room. He painted the walls, got all the furniture together and even had the neighbor come in and check out his handy work. He is so cute when it comes to preparing for Maci. I haven’t had to ask him to do any of this, he just runs into her room and goes to work all on his own, what a good daddy he is already!

When I find my freakin’ camera that has been hiding since we moved I’ll make sure I post pictures of the room.

Classes Are Scheduled!

I finally got my butt in gear and registered Will and I for some classes. Here's the scoop.


April 15th-May 13th, we have birthing class every Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm.

April 25th, Will and I will go on our tour of the hospital from 2-3pm.

May 15th, Will is scheduled for a Daddy class to learn all the basics for taking care of our baby.


I'm looking forward to the classes, hope they aren't boring!
